A Service Area Set by Road Miles

Our coverage follows towns, not a circle on a map. A roofer based near Peachtree City can reach these places in a short drive, so that's where we take requests: across Fayette County, Georgia and the eastern side of Coweta County, Georgia. Each town has its own page with local permit contacts, storm history and housing notes.

The distances below are rough straight-line estimates from Peachtree City. Your own drive may run a little longer.

All Covered Towns

  • Peachtree City, GA. The home base, a planned city in Fayette County. No official city page we found settles whether a re-roof needs a permit, so ask your roofer and confirm who files it. The Building Department answers at (770) 487-8901.
  • Tyrone, GA. About 5 miles north, sharing a border with Peachtree City. Permits run through (678) 216-0641, and the town's residential checklist asks contractors for an occupational tax certificate. See Tyrone, GA.
  • Fayetteville, GA. The Fayette County seat, about 9 miles to the east-northeast. Building & Inspections at City Hall (770-719-4067) publishes a residential re-roof guide, so check it or call. See Fayetteville, GA.
  • Senoia, GA. About 7 miles south-southeast in Coweta County. Call City Hall at (770) 599-3679. If your home is in the historic downtown area, ask whether roof changes need review first. See Senoia, GA.
  • Sharpsburg, GA. About 5 miles southwest. Inside town limits, permits go through the Town of Sharpsburg at (770) 251-4171; outside them, Coweta County handles it at 770-254-2660. See Sharpsburg, GA.
  • Newnan, GA. The Coweta County seat, about 12 miles west. The city Building Department is at 678-673-5413, and homes outside city limits use Coweta County. Anyone paid to work on a Newnan home needs a city business license. See Newnan, GA.
  • Unincorporated Fayette County, Georgia. Outside the city limits, the county skips the permit only when the new roofing matches the old material and decking work stays at or under 128 square feet. Switching materials, or replacing more decking than that, means a county permit. Call Building Safety at 770-305-5403.

The unincorporated county rule above applies only outside city and town limits. It does not cover homes inside Peachtree City, Fayetteville, GA or Tyrone, so check with your own town's office.

Outside the List?

Some addresses near the county lines are hard to place, especially in subdivisions with a mailing address from one town and a permit office in another. If you can't tell whether you're covered, call (770) 555-0194 or send the form with your street and town. We'll tell you plainly whether a roofer we refer to works there.

If nobody covers your address, we'll say so rather than pass your details along anyway. Wherever you live, hiring well comes down to the same few checks: an insurance certificate, a current business license from the roofer's town, warranties on paper and a contract that lists every item. Our Georgia roofing rules page walks through each one.
